Thai pray for the health of King Bhumibol
There are concerns about the health of the beloved Thai king. That something is seriously going on is evident from the fact that Bangkok Post is paying a lot of attention to it today. The newspaper writes that people are praying for the king all over the country.
On Saturday, the health of the king, who has been cared for some time in the Siriraj hospital in Bangkok, deteriorated. The frost had to be put on a ventilator and was given medication to lower his blood pressure. Despite this, his health is described by the Royal Household Bureau as 'unstable'.
Yesterday, dozens of monks went to Siriraj Hospital to help the king recover with prayers and chants. All over the country, Thais pray for the monarch's recovery. A number of temples in Bangkok held ceremonies yesterday.
