First a little history. I am a man of 67. About 35 years ago I had a virus infection. Short but sweet. Similar to flu. Then, for many years, symptoms of CFS.
Went through the whole medical mill, but found nothing concrete. Finally ended up with a professor in Leuven and suspected that the immune system was working against it. Always tired, fever on exertion and night sweats. Even food intolerance. Since I had an independent profession as an inland skipper, these symptoms are not immediately useful.
In recent years, things have gotten a little better. Until in December, after returning from Europe and Singapore, I fell seriously ill again. We suspect covid, although it was not known at the time. However, now I have the same symptoms again. The night sweats are especially bad. Look like a woman going through menopause.
Maybe you know a solution?

To be honest, I have no idea and can only guess.
You may have been infected with the Epstein Bar virus, which causes mononucleosis, 35 years ago. The symptoms of this can come back years later.
Another possibility is a Cytomegalus infection.
Both can be easily detected with a blood test.
There are still many options for your condition.
I recommend you see a doctor.
