Dear Martin,
Have read the story about "to smoke or not to smoke". I am 83 years old, weigh 93 kilos, height 1,93 mtr. Smoked since I was 15 years old. Have a heart problem and now had 3 stents. 1x in 2005, 1x in 2012 and 1x in 2014 (in Thailand). Use Baby Aspirin to thin my blood and Carats to keep my blood pressure down. My average blood pressure is 135 over 78. I measure every day.
Use 2 tablespoon of pure Virgin Olive Oil every day before breakfast for 1 months. Feel excellent and have no complaints of any kind. Do you now advise me to stop smoking completely or should I just keep doing it for the rest of my life?
Kindly your response.
Regards,
B.
NB: Instead of 1 x per month, I am now still checked by the Cardiologist 1 x per 3 months.

Dear B,
I will never advise an 83-year-old to stop any addiction.
Yours faithfully,
Dr. Maarten
