For more than half a year I have been struggling to get rid of fried rice (Nasi) (in Thailand they call this Khao Pad), which gets stuck in my throat (Larynx). Even with a drink immediately, it gets stuck in my throat and I can't get it out! Only when I put my finger down my throat will it be released again and I can continue to eat until it's gone.
But lately with eating a plate of Khao Pad I have to put my finger down my throat more often and only then can I continue eating. Like yesterday 4x to clear my plate! Am a Thai Khao Pad lover but dread eating this. At home this is still possible, but in a restaurant this becomes difficult as the throat has to be cleared again and again. With eating glutinous rice, noodles etc, no problem, as with all other Thai or Western food, this is only with fried rice.

Dear P,
These are serious complaints. I advise you to consult an ENT (ear, nose and throat specialist) or a gastroenterologist as soon as possible. They can usually make the diagnosis with a camera.
