Dear Martin,

I am obliged to measure my temperature twice a day due to Covid-2, after I have been on holiday in the Netherlands. Because I'm never really sick, it's been years since I've done this. What I notice is that my body temperature is low. Too low?
It fluctuates between 34,7 and 35,5, is this normal, especially with this warm weather?

I am 57 years old and healthy and without medication. Do not smoke and stopped drinking alcohol 2 years ago.

Do not worry. As long as you feel good, there's nothing to worry about.
I have noticed that body temperature here is often lower than we are used to. Sometimes more than a degree Celsius.
That could be the thermometer. Maybe a bad battery.
It can also depend on how the temperature is measured. Rectal gives the most reliable reading. It is often lower under the armpit or in the mouth, especially if you have just had a cold drink. Forehead temperature is completely unreliable. Ear temperature, no matter how easy, is also not a good indicator.
In the morning the temperature is often half a degree lower than in the evening. In the tropics, the difference is even greater.
Base temperature in humans also differs quite a bit. The spread goes from 35.5-37.5. Some even have a base temperature of 38 or 34,5. This is almost never taken into account. You will now only have a base temperature of 38 with the mass hysteria. Then they lock you up.
