Dear Martin,
I sometimes see pieces in the stool that look like tapeworms or very occasionally small white granules in the underwear. I am not sure. Can I take Niclosamide or something similar without testing or is that not a good idea?
I also read on the internet that the pork tapeworm in particular can move through the body and become dangerous, and what danger is that? How can that be determined? I experience no problems, no loss of strength, no defecation problems.
Medications: wafarin 3 mg, 79 years, 82 kg, 189 cm, 125/80 blood pressure.

Bring your as fresh as possible, preferably still warm, stool to a laboratory. There they can determine whether you have parasites.
The pork tapeworm (Taenia solium) can indeed be dangerous. The cysts can end up anywhere in the body, where they can cause problems due to the space they occupy.
If they burst, a very serious allergic reaction can occur.
Praziquantel is the right product for pork tapeworm. Since you are not sure, research is a better option.
