Dear Martin,

Since about 10 days I have had a small lump in the anus, about 1 cm in the anus subcutaneously, soft, not bigger than an orange seed, not sensitive, normal stools. Absolutely no problems and can only be felt with a finger.

Can it hurt?

65 yrs, 140/75, non smoker, normal drinker.

Best regards,

J.

Dear J,

Unfortunately I can't judge that.

Wait several weeks. If it doesn't go away, or if it gets bigger, see a doctor.

It's probably a small cyst.

Yours faithfully,

Dr. Maarten
