Editor's note: Visa file revised

Last year, Thailandblog started to compile a few files on subjects that are often the subject of questions. The dossiers are written by bloggers who are experts in the relevant field.

The following files have been published so far:

In October 2013, the first version of Visa Thailand was posted. This file was written by Ronny Mergits. Visa information is apparently constantly changing because we are only in 2014 and an updated version was already necessary.

Once again Ronny has climbed into the pen, this time with the help of blogger MACB. The new version has now been posted. It consists of a Q&A and an underlying document. The pages of this document are now numbered. Handy for those who want to print the document (a PDF). Prevents pages from getting confused.

The main changes are:

  • Information regarding visa applications which can be found on the new website of the Thai consulate in Amsterdam.
  • Stricter requirements for ED visa.
  • A new chapter on basic documents, declarations, certifications, legalization (author MACB).

Thailandblog thanks both bloggers for their efforts, because it is a tough and very extensive matter. The appendix, for example, has 37 pages. The editors still have a few wishes for dossiers. What they are, you can here read. Who helps?

The dossier topics are listed in the left column of the homepage. Just click and you will find a wealth of information.

I just can't open that 37 page attachment. It seems to work for others. So it is obvious that I am doing something wrong. Anyone any idea?
