The golden-fronted leafbird (Chloropsis aurifrons) is a bird in the leafbird family.

This mostly green bird has a blue throat with a black band. There is a red skull patch on the top of the head. The body length is 20 cm.

This very lively bird lives high in the treetops. Its food consists of all kinds of fruits and small insects, as well as nectar, which they find in the flowers. They are good immitators and can whistle loudly. They usually live in large flocks, except during breeding season.

The breeding grounds of the golden-fronted leafbird are in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal, southern China, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam. It is a bird of various types of deciduous forest, mostly below 1200 m above sea level.

    Is exactly a colored starling.

      A starling has a straight beak and would not be able to suck nectar from a flower.
      So it doesn't.
