A far from your bed show? No, not really, even if you live abroad you have to deal with Dutch politics. Think of the Nationality Act, Passport Act, Civic Integration Act, Pensions and AOW, Taxation, Digital Government, Consular Services and so on. So just do it!
Do you want to vote in elections from abroad? Then register once. You will then automatically receive the documents with which you can vote by post at every election of the House of Representatives and the European Parliament. You simply register yourself via a form.
You can register as a voter outside the Netherlands up to and including 3 February 2021 in order to vote in the parliamentary elections of 17 March 2021.
