No fewer than 33 children received a present at Say Cheese in Hua Hin on Saturday 30 November. Sinterklaas had come over from Pattaya especially for this, while the three real black Zwartepieten have their home base in Hua Hin.

Due to a medical inconvenience, the Dutch Association Hua Hin and Cha Am decided to join forces with Say Cheese, where Sinterklaas is also celebrated every year. It was truly a full house and a resounding success.

After he had stripped himself of the saint's clothing, the saint turned out to be an excellent performer, who got the necessary legs off the floor as Rick the Singer from Pattaya.

Great job, a great party and I think all the children were very happy. What a relief compared to the Netherlands, glad to see that it can still be done this way.

Congratulations, at least here people still support Dutch culture with a real Zwarte Piet and no soot or sweeping Piet. Hopefully this real Zwarte Piet will remain Sinterklaas' servant in the coming years.

Are other opinions allowed? Who are people?

    Dear Hans Bosch,

That's the way it should be! Hats off, and how happy the children will be.
Nice our own black piet and saint.
    Funny pictures
    Yours faithfully,

    Erwin

When I see Sinterklaas like this , I start to sweat !
I wonder how she kept it up .

Dear Jan de Vries, yes, other opinions are also allowed as long as that is the case. It cannot be the case that a very small minority, about 1000 people, try to impose their will on the rest of NL, so about 16.900.000 people.
