Last week, the Dutch Hua Hin/Cha-am Association organized a fun herring and beer party at Coco T. in Soi 80 in Hua Hin. In just over an hour, herring farmer Pim Hoonhout had run out of stock.

The delicacies were washed down with a cool beer and the more than 60 attendees visibly enjoyed themselves. For example, they sang at the top of their lungs to the sailor songs that Hans Rentrop managed to get out of his specially brought instrument.

Board members Theo van der Heijde and Do van Drunen put on their best effort, even accompanied by Nellie Gillesse and (sister) Greet. Remarkable was the performance of the new member Maria Meulstee, who managed to produce a few nice songs on Johan Wiekel's guitar.

Do van Drunen welcomed the new members and announced the arrival of Sinterklaas on 28 November. He also reported that one VIP table and a few 'regular' seats are still available for the performance of Sara Kroos on December 9. Given the historical character of this well-known Dutch artist, the adage applies here: come and see it!

    hello,
It's a shame I didn't know there was such a nice organization in Hua Hin. At the beginning of January 2014, I was passing through Hua Hin. It was a pleasant 2-day stay in this town. An introduction to your organization could only have strengthened this feeling. Maybe in the future when I visit Hua-Hin again. How can I contact you?
    regards,
    Jan

I think the Coco T. in soi 80 is the only restaurant in Huahin with 'Dutch Fries' on the menu.
But the waitress didn't know what Dutch fries were either. Great steak by the way!

    Yours faithfully,
    Maurice
