On Thursday, November 29, the Dutch embassy offers the opportunity to apply for a new passport on Phuket prior to the ninth Bitterballenborrel.

If you want to make use of this possibility, you can register by e-mail until 15 November at the latest ([email protected]). You will then receive the time of the appointment and further instructions.

The Bitterballenborrel will take place from 17 to 19 pm in Eddy's Restaurant in Kathu, Phuket and is organized by the Honorary Consul in Phuket, Mr. Seven Smulders.

On behalf of the Dutch embassy, ​​the deputy ambassador Thomas van Leeuwen & wife Paulette, Messrs Jef Haenen and Dick Camerling, resp. head, deputy head of the Consular and Internal Affairs Department.

The snacks are offered free of charge. This is possible because of the reasonable price that Eddy charges and with the help of a contribution from the Consulate. You pay for the drinks yourself, as has always been the case with previous drinks.

Mr. Smulders will invite the Dutch people in his jurisdiction around October 20 for the bitterballen drink. If you would like to participate in the drink, you are kindly requested to do so by email to the Honorary Consulate ([email protected]) to let know. Please include the names of attendees in your registration.
