The month of December has arrived. A month that evokes different feelings. People who look forward to a pleasant time associated with Christmas. Others who see it as a mountain to get through this time. The Netherlands was already ravaged in November by the “world problem” of the Black Petes. What a small country can be great at!

In Thailand you hardly notice this “party month”. At most to the recurring tune in the shops of a “We wish you a merry Christmas”. Christmas decorations are often hung from a commercial point of view, but it does look very nice. Only at that moment you miss the cold and the Glühwein! The hotels are also doing their best to offer a Christmas dinner.

Music festivals in Pattaya

Pattaya wouldn't be Pattaya if Musicals weren't organized. The Mayan Music Festival will take place on Sunday, December 10 at Horsehoe Point in Ban Pong:  www.mayamusicfestival.com Thousands of techno and EDM fans can indulge themselves here. From the Netherlands, in addition to international stars, R3hab and DubVision will give their “acte de presence”.

Another kind of festival is the mix between music, art and culture, the so-called “Wonderfruit Festival”: wonderfruitfestival.com This will take place from Thursday December 14 to Sunday December 17 at the large estate of the Siam Country Clubs Pattaya in Ban Pong. The range of music is very diverse, with Canadian techno legend Richie Hawtin as the highlight.

The whole, although Thai, has the legendary Woodstock festival content with workshops, culinary snacks and sports activities.
