Subject: Immigration Bangkok

For your information. The Belgian Embassy has refused affidavit due to ONLY signature acknowledging…not the income right now: https://forum.thaivisa.com/topic/1098204-belgian-embassy-letter-rejected-by-cw-immigration/

Reaction RonnyLatYa

Thanks for the submission. I've read it too. It actually says that it is declined because no additional proof is provided, such as 12 monthly deposits. In that case it can be used. That is of course nonsense. Because even then it is something that you fill in yourself. There is nothing to prove that the amount of money you deposit also comes from your pension.

I have often suggested that when you submit the Affidavit to Immigration, you should also include proof of the pension office as proof of where those figures come from. Can imagine why some might not…

That additional evidence to the “Affidavit” is therefore not legalized, but it does prove that those figures are not taken out of thin air and that it is also a net income. Can be obtained in English from the pension service on simple request and is specially intended for use abroad.

Brought my Affidavit into Kanchanaburi in March. They looked at the Affidavit and then at that evidence and that was enough for them. Perhaps this was also the additional evidence that was decisive. Who knows.

But hey, even with that proof, one immigration office will always accept it and another won't.

What does a life certificate have to do with the embassy in KhonKaen? You go with an unfilled and signed document to the city hall where the relevant service signs and stamps this document.

FYI and I forgot to add it.
David writes “The Belgian Embassy refused affidavit”
Of course, the Belgian embassy did not refuse anything. It is CW that refused the Belgian Affidavit.

Affidavit submitted this week at immigration Laksi BKK, you must first have the embassy stamp verified at the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs, only then is it valid. Quick procedure costs THB 400. Enter at 8:30 am and collect it in the afternoon. This ministry is located on Chaeng wattana road Laksi Bangkok along the main road in front of the new government complex the verification department is on the top floor if help is needed just let me know I live nearby

That is a very recent requirement and also completely useless, because the content has still not been legalized. The first I heard about it in Bangkok. That wasn't the problem in the article either. Last year without legalization from BZ and it was simply accepted in Bangkok. Just like this year in Kanchanaburi.

Good evening . Are you sorry it was declined? But think for a moment… who goes to immigration these days? The coronation, a new immigration boss, and no one knows what the future holds…? So stay away from all the official bodies now , And don't tell me it should be time enough no ? Just think logically anyway. But who am I? Greetings to everyone who loves Thailand M
