I would like to share my experience with the readers of Thailand blog about the extension of my retirement visa at the immigration of Pathum Thani.

My visa expires on March 5 and due to the changes on March 1, I already left on February 28. First in the morning I got the visa support letter from the embassy and then to the immigration office of Pathumtani with the completed TM 7 form, copies of my passport, Departure card and 90 days form, the visa support letter (not legalized) and the details of my residential address.

First report in room A, where all forms are checked and a new notice of change of address is issued again, I have been living at the same address for 9 years, but for a number of years I keep getting this blue form in my passport. Everything was fine and on to room B where everything was checked again at the desk and I was given a number of forms to fill out. One of them is completely in Thai and for 90% the same information has to be filled in as on the TM 7 form, only the names of the parents are also asked here. Fortunately, the lady at the desk is very helpful with filling in the form. Furthermore, a form that describes the penalties for overstay and you must sign this that you are aware of this.

I now got my tracking number. After fifteen minutes it was my turn. After a few minutes everything was ready and I could pay, take a photo and the visa was signed by the head of the department. Everything went exactly as in previous years, efficient, friendly and fast. So all praise

Reaction RonnyLatYa.

Thank you for submitting. I like to read how things are done in other immigration offices. Especially the lesser known ones like now Phatumtani and the previous Rai Khing.

You always see a document popping up somewhere that is only used locally.

I don't know which Thai document this is. It does remind me of a document that was in effect for a while a few years ago. You also had to fill in all kinds of information at the time, but it was removed after just a few months. Maybe they kept it here, or made a local version of it.

Again, good to read that everything went efficiently, friendly and quickly.

In Chiang Mai, a lady who works at Immi told me that one should not bring any forms if one has already submitted a 90-day report there in the past. The data that is already in the computer is used. It's up to you to report if something isn't right.

My extension here went reasonably well.
I handed in all my forms to lady 1 at the door and according to her my monthly amount was sufficient. I was forwarded to lady 2 stripes, she said that my monthly amount was not enough and my extension was rejected. We returned to lady 1 together with lady 3 stripes again, she said it came to € 72000 per month.
Lady 2 probably had counted with dollars instead of Euro.

At SSO we had to wait a very long time, another 2 hours after closing time.
They did have SVB forms in the computer and in the file here
But they had never heard of ABP pension and no forms.
The data was entered in the SVB form on a computer instead of the ABP form.
My wife had to appear to the highest boss on the 1st floor because of the correctness of my documents.
I had to wait outside in the corridor, at 5 o'clock we were ready.

Today it was my turn to grant

Went to the bank first thing in the morning
Make a later printout of the last 3 months
And a paper where the bank says that there are really 3 months 8 tons
My account says charges 200 bath
Now to korat was lucky as it was quiet
And there are students who fill in everything for you
She finished filling out all my papers
Could go straight to the counter and hopa may stay another year
04 04 2020 she did tell me that the 8 tons will still be on your account for 3 months
Must remain standing and that the balance may not fall below 4 tons
Coming back in 90 days, I still have to go to the bank first
No, not necessary, it's just your 90 day notification
20 minutes later I was out again
