In these turbulent times, many people in many countries have to fear for their jobs. This also applies to the staff of THAI Airways International, the national airline of Thailand.

As a kind of boost for their own staff, but also for others, they made a video clip in which they sing the well-known song “We will survive”. It is not an official video from THAI Airways itself, but was made on the initiative of someone who calls himself “NAKARAwhocamefromthesky” on Facebook.

Oh, just a happy note between all the nasty messages!

Video: “We will survive”

Nice video clip! Sad for the people in the music video, many of whom fear for their jobs. But with the song I will survive I immediately thought it would also be meant for farangs? By this I mainly mean the text,
just turn around now cause you're not welcome anymore…..

Strange, but it has been impossible to book a flight via the app in July and even October for a week now.
Is this the harbinger of a permanent closure?

Just read on 'Aviation News' that the company would be on the verge of collapse:

Thai Airways runs at a loss most years, nothing new under the sun in that respect. Given the importance of the Thai state in this company and also the special service that the company provides to someone special, the company will not be allowed to go under. Although, never say never…

Beautifully made video by the staffers,
Partly because of the music and dance, life is back in the brewery here.
Even better than those professionally made commercials from other airlines.

    Jan Beute.
