Fair butterfly meets girl from Naklua (Part 8)

The sister probably also had an alcohol intolerance, because she took it very easy. Very wise. I was extensively treated to photos from her native village. From the little pigs that were born and suckled, to pictures of her posing with her sister's groom. I wondered if Olaf wouldn't have scratched his head again at such a moment.

Sister had started dating a boyfriend when she was twelve. He soon moved to Rayong, but they held on for six years, though she didn't see him often. She hasn't had a steady boyfriend for the past two years. Nevertheless, she is quite unhinged, and she has met a lot of Thai boys. She also considers herself a bit of a butterfly. She is the youngest of three daughters and therefore always seen as the little baby by her sisters from birth. She was starting to loosen up quite a bit now. I was her first farang, she said. It just might.

In any case, it became clear to me later that she had more experience than her older sister. But she was divinely beautiful and terribly sweet. That I could still experience this…

In the end, of course, it was all about the Bahtjes, she made no secret of that. She doesn't want to get married just yet. Good thing, too. She had to get up early the next morning. She went with her sister to Isan. That was more fun, and then they could alternate with driving.

It would be a shame if they didn't come back to Pattaya together afterwards, I thought. I didn't have to worry, she would be back in a week.

I followed the couple on social media and there was regular contact.

They came back the day before yesterday. After such a long drive I didn't want to force myself back in right away, I waited quietly to see what would happen.

A message came this morning. They had slept almost all day yesterday and in the evening they went out together to spend their last Bahtjes. Now some financial support seemed urgently needed. There was only 50 Baht left in cash.

'What do you mean darling? You want to come to my room tonight?'

'Yes Tuk-Tuk, please… Can I go three nights with you?'

'Haha. You know that is difficult for me. Me butterfly… But we can try!'

"Okay darling, thank you. See you tonight. Kiss!'

We agreed at nine o'clock. Shortly after noon I first went to breakfast with the girl who was still with me. She came from Bangkok and had been active in Pattaya for three weeks via a dating site. Business went better than expected, she hadn't had any days off yet, and she seemed to be able to achieve an operating profit of 50.000 Baht in the first month. She gave me an insight into the reactions and offers she received through the modern media. Perhaps I will soon devote a separate story to this, it is a rapidly growing – and fascinating – market segment. She went with me to the Wonderful 2 Bar, where I usually follow up with coffee, water and coke, to delay the alcoholic drinks as long as possible. At about three o'clock I had to hint that she might want to sleep in her room for a while. Otherwise, I think she would have stuck around until her next appointment, at five. But I still had to put together a story and I prefer to be on my own for a few hours every day anyway. The hint was taken.

I was not allowed much time, the necessary acquaintances trickled in again. Generally long-stayers at this time of year, who sometimes hang out with the same girlfriend for weeks at a time. Recently, a more or less fixed group of about six Americans has formed, into which I, as the only non-American citizen, am easily included. They are very patriotic, and strictly enforce it. With their knowledge of, for example, the history and meaning of the American flag, they try to catch each other flying. They are all people with a lot of life experience, who have seen the whole world and have done well.

But they are not stubborn, have a wide range of interests and if they do not know something they will not rest until they have acquired the knowledge, and you can help them with that. I won't generalize, but these are just nice Americans. It is a popular clientele of the girls, who are given the opportunity to fill their bags almost every day. Sometimes I think that at some point you have to have everything, but that is apparently not the case for these ladies.

Unnoticed it had come time for the Tom Yum Kung. Then relax for a while. It would be about nine o'clock by then.

At half past eight sister sent a message:

Darling, I have dinner with my sister first.
Can I see you about 10 PM OK?
Or 10.30? We go to restaurant in Naklua.'

Well, there was certainly a piggy bank for that.
Of course you can say 'no', or ask how they plan to do that, with 50 Baht, but that's not how I am.

'Not later than 10.30.
If you are not in bar at 10.30, I go find other girl.'

'Ok fall, thank you!.

Then I just kept hanging out for a while. Very slowly it became ten o'clock, a quarter past ten. Time to go to the Wonderful 2 Bar. Not much could go wrong in fifteen minutes. The moment I got into the elevator my phone vibrated:

'I am in hospital now', followed by a photo of a heavily bloodied upper lip and mouth.

She wouldn't have fought, would she?

"What happened?"

Actually nothing. They were eating and suddenly blood had come pouring out of her nose. Probably caused by the heat, the doctor said.

'Okay, hope you get well soon!'

'Thank you.'

So it wasn't going to be tonight. I was immediately approached by an acquaintance of mine, a compatriot and fellow blogger. I had told him that the little sister was coming today, and he wanted to see that too. Two disillusioned persons. That's nice. Now I still had to hunt. I decided to aim my arrows at Soi 3 and paid. Then my eyes fell on a girl in the Wonderful 2 Bar and I stayed put. Apparently a new girl. She was busy talking to a nice colleague, who probably showed her around. I just had to sit down with that. It was her first day here. She was 25, has no children and came from Surin, just like her colleague. They had been friends for four years. She wanted to come with me, but had to get up at seven the next morning, because her grandmother passed away a year ago and that has to be commemorated in the temple. She didn't know how much she had to ask now, she inquired with her friend, who neatly mediated further.

I threw some ladydrinks against it and not so much later we left for the room.

When asked what she had done before coming to work in the Wonderful 2 Bar, the standard answer was: Then she had helped on the farm in her hometown in the Isan. This answer is a nice example of the 'Thai truth'. Strictly speaking, this is not a lie, but the suggestion she creates, that she is working in Pattaya for the first time, is of course nonsense.

You should then ask the following question:

'Aha. And what did you do before that?'

Yes, she had also worked in Pattaya then.

And with that, the miracle, the impossible fact that almost all girls, when asked, only work in Pattaya for a few months at the most, is explained: They regularly go home for a few days or a week, and when they return to Pattaya they start working again. to count.

It took me years to solve this puzzle.

The young lady in question had worked as a waitress in an Agogo on Walking Street for just under a year. There she earned a base salary of 10.000 Baht. With lady drink bonus and tips included between 15.000 and 20.000 Baht per month. The serving staff could not be barfined in the Agogo where she worked.

I thought it was a nice income for a waitress, but it was no longer enough for her. That is why, on the advice of her friend, she has now started here.

She has had a few Thai boyfriends, the last one broke up two months ago. He had more girlfriends, as more or less usual.

It was time for something different.

I won't go into details, but let me put it this way: It turned out – at least for her – not an unqualified pleasure. Then, to be honest, I'm not really having fun with it. Fortunately, otherwise it will be dramas. She really wanted to go straight to her room. I liked it. Silently she disappeared into the night.

I slept until eleven o'clock and wondered how it would be with sister.

'Good morning! How are you today?'

'I'm good now. And you?'

'I'm fine. Hope to see you tonight.'

"You not angry?"

'I will punish you tonight! lol No, not angry.'

'But don't kill me after'

"Only slowly."

'Haha. What time?'

'9.30?'

'OK!'

    French,
Please help me on my way. How should I classify that sister? Is it like 1. butterfly, 2. bar lady, 3. independent pros. or 4. an disagreement. At 4, almost everyone would shrug their shoulders like, you also encounter that in a bar in the Netherlands, and what can be said about that….

I don't think you can easily come to any understanding of Thai women with pigeonholing.
