Visited a real one earlier this week brothel in Pattaya. Those of you who know that I live in Pattaya will not find this a real surprise as there are plenty of people who see the whole of Pattaya as one big brothel.

Of course I do not have that opinion because a person does not only live from or for sex and Pattaya has much more to offer for people who live there or visit the city than just the exciting nightlife.

Brothel

When I think of a brothel, I don't think of the many beer bars and a gogo clubs, but more of a kind of villa, luxuriously furnished, a cozy bar where you can have a chat with one of the many ladies present. Of course, the intention is that agreements are made about the sexual services to be provided.

Kinnaree

One such venue is 'Kinnaree's Gentlemen Club' on a side street off Soi 4 Pratumnak Hill. It is one of the so-called “secret” locations, where you can discreetly satisfy a (naughty) need. A beautiful beautiful villa that exactly meets what I expect from a brothel above. It is a “day opportunity”, which means that the activities take place mainly during the day between 3 and 8 am. So a man does not have to seek refuge in a noisy bar in the evening, but goes unsuspectingly (I have a business appointment in Jomtien, dear” or “I'm going to play a game of billiards with a friend, tarak”) to this club.

Special visit

So was I also there to use the services for which this club was set up? Three times no! My visit was related to an English friend's 50th birthday. That had to be celebrated in a special way. I was invited with about 25 other men to gather somewhere in Pattaya and go on a kind of mystery tour. The birthday boy himself was not (yet) present, but we were all transported to the Kinnaree Club where we waited while enjoying a drink to see what would happen next.

Arrest

Birthday Billy was still asleep when the doorbell rang at his condo. His wife opened the door and saw a police officer with 3 assistants. Billy was awakened to shower and dress and was arrested, handcuffed and transported to the Immigration Police station in a squad car. Billy has some experience (!) with the police in England, but he didn't understand anything about this. He considered it might be a joke, but his idea about the Thai police kept him pretty tame and he didn't resist. In Jomtien he was put in a room and Billy asked for an explanation of what was going on. Something about his passport was said and you have to wait for our chief who is not yet here. Billy got fed up with his passport and began demanding to speak to the chief immediately. A phone call came in and the officer who had arrested him told him they were going to meet his boss at a location outside the station.

So Billy, still bewildered and fascinated, was ushered into the Kinnaree Club where Billy (he later said) thought it was crazy that he had to visit a police chief in a brothel. We sat in a closed room in the villa where Billy was then ushered in to the singing of our choir “Happy Birthday Billy”. Then his handcuffs were taken off and he was able to drink his first beer, after which many more followed.

It was a nice surprise and it will be clear that such a police action was only possible through good contacts between the organizer and the police

Party

The party continued for a few more hours as Billy, originally “not amused” slowly but surely thawed out and will remember this birthday for years to come. Quite a few ladies from the club shared in the revelry and a few from our group (not me, no way!) took the opportunity (“I'm here after all!”) to seclude with a lady for a while.

Finally,

Kinnaree is a nice Gentlemen's Club with a choice of available ladies not overly expensive and discreetly hidden in a Soi. It was busy (every day, sir!) with people working for home or spending an afternoon with a friend. I don't have to if necessary I'll get my money's worth at home and besides I'm not impressed by beautiful ladies with an ice-cold look in their eyes.

You go to a place like that for a reason. Why are you going there? For a friend's birthday
who turned 50 years old. Also in the area people who have good contacts with the police.
Do you have that too? Told several times in the story that you didn't go into seclusion with one of those gorgeous ladies in the picture. I wouldn't have vouched for myself, certainly not with a beer.
I had also told your story at home. Only my wife had known that my contacts with the police were not
    were really intimate.

Ouch, Cor, are those places not only “secret”, but also off limits for you? Well, not for me, mind you!
I'm old and wise enough to behave myself and I've lived in Pattaya long enough to know the tricks of the trade.

I don't intend to become a regular at that club, but it is certainly a cozy place and a great place for such a party.

By the way, my connections with the police are limited to a few visits a year to Immigration and paying a ticket at the police station (but that was a long time ago)

The photo posted by the editors is not of this club I visited. The ladies there were even more beautiful!

Yet you found their eyes cold and cold, Gringo?

You could write a story about that, I think [Or me, haha]!

Franky, the eyes of a Thai woman are the "recognition point" for me to get a first impression of her. I'll think about writing a story about it.

    Nice story Gringo.

You convinced me of your goodness with the remark: “beautiful ladies with an ice-cold look in their eyes”. It's not my cup of tea either, but I've had the privilege a few times that the can wasn't ice-cold. And there was nothing wrong with that, on the contrary, a nice memory. That also works!

    Ah,

Others have nothing to say if I'm in a beer bar, Gogo or brothel. Very interfering to then interfere in someone else's leisure activities.

And no, I have never visited a brothel in Pattaya. Well, the 'soapies' and beer bars. The Gogo only visited to see my buddies from the Netherlands staring at the stage with an open mouth (and they had experienced it, I thought).

But a 'nice event', although that English friend with British practical experience in his own country would not have felt really well for a while. And I'm sorry to say it, but the fact that the Brit is also in trouble in his own country is/was a bit typical, isn't it?

Pretty funny that the officer wanted to play along. Although he will have received some 'tea-money' and hopefully his assistants too...

    Nice story Gringo!

Apparently everyone who responded felt addressed….
There is of course no reason to be hypocritical, the story was only about a birthday party for a friend, and not about ….

    : )
