You say go out in Pattaya then you say Walking street. This tourist strip has a huge concentration of bars, massage parlors and nightclubs stretching from Soi 13 to 16.

The street is closed to traffic at night and is then the domain of hordes of tourists from various countries. Screaming neon lights and loud music accompany the rows of men and women who marvel at everything that goes on here. Scantily clad Thai ladies try to lure tourists into the bars with signs showing the prices for drinks.

The Pattaya beer bars you will encounter here are legendary. Lots of blaring from Thai ladies trying to be intelligible over the noise of the music. Sometimes in the center of the bar is a boxing ring where nightly Muay Thai matches are held, starting at 19:00 PM and continuing until 23:00 PM.

For those who are not into women, Pattaya has a significant gay scene, such as along Thappaya Road, the Jomtien Complex, Soit Whitehouse and Soi 7. Of course you can also go to Boyz Town (Soi Pattayaland 1 & 3).

In short, Pattaya has plenty to offer for anyone who wants to go crazy. If you want an even more extensive account of the nightlife in Pattaya, read Gringo's article: A pub crawl in Pattaya
