Krabi is a popular coastal province on the Andaman Sea in southern Thailand. The province also includes 130 tropical islands. In Krabi you will find the typical overgrown limestone rocks that sometimes protrude from the sea. In addition, the beautiful beaches are worth a visit as well as a number of mysterious caves.

Krabi is 950 kilometers from Bangkok and can be reached by car. From Bangkok take route 4 via Phatchaburi-Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Ranong and Phangnga. There are also daily buses from Bangkok to Krabi from the South Bus Terminal. The journey takes about 12 hours. It takes a little longer by train, but then the night train is a good option. You travel from Bangkok to Trang, Phun Pin or Thung Song, from there buses run to Krabi.

Krabi also has an international airport. The Bangkok-Krabi connection is maintained by Thai Airways, AirAsia and Nok Air, among others.
