Belgian arrested in Thailand due to the disappearance of a neighbor
The Thai Immigration Service has arrested a 56-year-old (Thai) Belgian. The man was wanted by interpol and the Court of Verviers as a suspect in connection with the disappearance of his Belgian neighbour.
Government remains desperate for money for farmers
Two setbacks for the government, which is desperate for money to pay the farmers for their surrendered rice. The Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC) refuses to use its own liquidity and the promissory note issuance appears to be a flop.
Six-year-old girl third fatality Ratchaprasong attack
Yesterday afternoon's grenade attack near Big C Supercenter in Ratchaprasong has now claimed a third fatality. A six-year-old girl has died of her injuries, Ramathibodi Hospital said.
