My Thai wife, Pen, has managed to create a personal 'paradise' with her "green fingers", by turning an old rice field into a sub-tropical jungle full of all kinds of exotic flowers, shrubs and trees - which she developed by only planting seeds and (small) seedlings.

This is issued by the International Automobile Association and consists of a plastic card and a kind of driver's license in the form of a passport. Thailand is also going into space, I read in The Nation. Thailand is going to build a lunar lander that will put the first Thai people on the moon. The newspaper contains technical data: the lunar lander weighs 300 kilograms and will escape the atmosphere at a speed of 11 km per hour, no less than!

We only missed Linla towards the end of the afternoon. Linla is the sister of Mimi, two 'thoroughbred Thai' dogs and now 5 years old. They came to live with us when Mona, labrador, was still alive with Sam Lie, another thoroughbred (meaning a cocktail of 'anything and everything') Thai dog who is just under a year older than Linla and Mimi. In the course of 2013, Mona passed away.

I just heard (morning December 11) at NPO 1 at WNL, that as of March 31, 2021, the countries of Australia and Thailand, among others, will open their borders to tourists, provided they are vaccinated against Covid-19. This seems like great news, also for the undersigned.
