The Thai Red Cross organizes a bazaar every year in cooperation with foreign embassies. The wives/partners of ambassadors in particular play an important role in this.

This year the bazar will take place for the 52nd time on March 2 and 3, 2019 in the Royal Paragon Hall, 5th Floor Siam Paragon (Bangkok). The motto this year is “Giving colors our lives”, roughly translated “Giving color to our lives”.

During the bazar, which will be open from 10.00:22.00 am to 50:XNUMX pm, more than XNUMX countries will be represented with a stand, all of which will offer a number of national products for sale. The range of products will undoubtedly be very diverse and surprising again this year.

To give you an idea, here's a selection from last year's bazaar: Russian nesting dolls – Matryoshka dolls, Russian Gzhel ceramics, Belgian crystal accessories and chocolates, Norwegian salmon, Australian vitamins, bedding and duvet cushions, Moroccan argan oil, Mongolian cashmere shirts, scarves and shawls and leather goods, Bhutanese jams, honey, mineral water, Brazilian sandals, gemstones, Canadian frozen seafood and maple syrup, Portuguese egg tarts, Czech glass and crystalware, Myanmar tanaka, tea, coffee, rubies, jade, jewelery and cashew nuts , Swiss chocolates, cheese, ice cream and kitchenware, and Israeli dates and apricots, Turkish carpets, ceramics, drawings, dried fruit, nuts and silverware.

This year, the Netherlands will be present at stands C09-C11 and C20-C22, but what will be presented is not yet known.
