The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) joins forces with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and World Athletics to launch the “Running through the City, Amazing Thailand Marathon Bangkok”.
The event aims to stimulate sports tourism in both Bangkok and Thailand. Many prominent cities worldwide have their own marathon.
This sporting event is scheduled for December 3, 2023, with an attendance of at least 30.000 participants expected, including 5.000 international runners. The start is at Rajamangala Stadium, while the finish line is at the Democracy Monument on Ratchadamnoen Road. After the race, runners gather in the town square, the so-called finish area.
