RTL5: Temptation Island in Thailand
Attention for a series of TV programs called Temptation Island, which will be broadcast by RTL 4 from February 20.30 (5:XNUMX pm).
Temptation Island is a household name in the television world, because the formula has been used before and has been shown on television. A short summary for those who are not familiar with the program: four couples put their relationship to the test. They go to an island full of scantily clad singles. They do that without their other half.
The two Dutch and two Belgian couples spend nine days in tropical Thailand and have no contact with their partners. They only see several videos of each other, in which the other is having fun with the ten handsome bachelors.
Preview
I'm not going to say anything more about it, because if you google Temptation Island, you will see a variety of previews, complete with pictures of the bachelors, in the Dutch and Belgian newspapers. A good example is an article on the HLN.be website, in which a journalist reports on her presence.
I quote: “Our journalist was the first ever to witness how four couples undergo the 'ultimate relationship test' on a Thai island. Separated from each other, but surrounded by a swarm of handsome bachelors, a pantry of liquor, condoms and the cameras recording everything. “This is old school guilty pleasure. But: a more beautiful, aesthetic version than six years ago. With pleasant people, no vulgar couples.”
Thailand and Gringo
I cannot judge whether it is a nice program, but the adventure takes place in Thailand and there are undoubtedly beautiful images to see, including the Kaeng Krachan National Park. You can probably imagine what kind of fun and less fun moments you can expect, but below I've posted a video where one Gringo talks about how his relationship ended after such a trip in a previous episode of Temptation Island. What I always find much more interesting in these programs are all the recording locations that are often not mentioned. This is also the case with many programs that have been included in the Philippines in recent years, which is a pity because that can give a huge boost to local tourism there.
The locations are indeed interesting, the program and the people who participate in it are of less high quality, that aside. But that is often the case with these types of formulas.
