Kaeng Krachan National Park is Thailand's largest national park. And with that size comes great biodiversity. The park is home to many rare animal species such as the Asian Tapir, the Indochinese Tiger, and the Asian Leopard.

Now those are animals that you see very rarely. But where there are large predators, you will also find healthy populations of many other animal species. Some of the animals you are more likely to see are langurs, macaques, gibbons, snakes, civets, and with even more luck, maybe even elephants or Gaur.

We drive up to the Dam with a view of the large lake and also beautiful views of wooded mountains as far as the eye can see. The park is not visited. This is only possible under the guidance of a guide with a 4 x 4 vehicle. We do do a boat trip on the lake.

On the way to the lake we visit it Chang Hua Man Royal Project visited. Large royal agricultural project with rice cultivation, orchards, organic fruit and vegetable cultivation and green energy development.
