This month of November there is something for everyone in Pattaya and that is why we have listed the most important events.

On November 18, there will be a Christmas market at Holiday Inn Pattaya on Beach Road. Many "gadgets" are displayed there, but also beautiful silk scarves and jewelry. Snacks and drinks are again invitingly ready (for a fee). Admission is 150 Baht.

Loy Krathong

The annual nationwide Loy Krathong Festival takes place on November 22. A festival that honors the goddess Mae Khongkha, but also asks for forgiveness if water has been wasted or polluted. For this, boats, Krathongs made of banana leaves and decorated with candles, smoke sticks, flowers and money, are let sail over the water ( Loy = float, sail,). The boats sometimes contain wish notes. Wish balloons were also released, although the latter happens less often. More detailed reports can be found on the blog.

Boat show

At the end of this month, on November 29, the annual boat show will begin at Ocean Marina on Sukhumvit Road towards Sattahip. Many attributes related to water sports are also on display. It is not yet known which possible extra surprises will be shown this year.

  1. john says up

Another fantastic market with a lot of "diversity" of Thai and Chinese stuff.
Will be cozy again with the traffic there in Pattaya.
Especially Terminal 21 has caused a traffic jam in Pattaya, it never ceases to amaze me how the Thai city planners have their ideas about the quality of life and the environmental aspects of another shopping center in the most illogical place in Pattaya.
The forums are full of them, and people are surprised what and how the authorities want to (not) solve this.
Parking everywhere on Pattaya North Road, they want to prevent this by painting the sidewalk edges red!
As if a Thai cares about this, if he parks space..
The only Thai who can benefit from this in the supplier of the paint, who is probably a friend of the creator of this solvable targeted plan…
Even the police have pulled their hands off it, and have said that the shopkeepers have to solve this themselves!
Those city planners should give them better training, and check a little more for political cronies, which can solve a lot of problems.
