On August 4, the founder of the Nong Nooch Tropical Garden, Mrs. NongnoochTansajjja, passed away at the age of 91. In 1980 she and her husband bought 1500 rai of land to create a garden, mainly to grow fruit.

After the couple had visited several countries and found botanical gardens with attractions, the idea of the Nong Nooch Tropical Garden was born. The gardens were adapted to a flower garden and they added additional facilities such as Thai-style houses, restaurants and meeting rooms.

Although she later handed over the leadership to her son Kampol, she remained in control behind the scenes. She divided her time between Bangkok and the beautiful Nong Nooch Tropical Garden. This park has seven different themes, such as a French garden, a Stonehenge garden, etc. Last year, they started building authentic Thai houses as a place of interest.

It goes without saying that these beautiful gardens in the park have won several international awards. There are an average of 2000 visitors per day.
