In 'de Ondernemer' you can read a nice story about Jarusawan, a 25-year-old woman from Thailand. She originally came to the Netherlands to work as an au pair. However, here her future husband met Arne and decided to stay.
Together they have now opened a successful Thai restaurant, Sawaan, in Kamperland, Zeeland. The restaurant is located in a building that used to be a bakery. Jarusawan and Arne started their culinary adventure with a catering company and private dining, and are now taking the next step with their own restaurant. The restaurant fills a gap in the local catering market as there are no other Asian eateries in the village. Jarusawan and Arne hope that locals and tourists alike will enjoy their Thai cuisine.
