Koh Yao Noi near Phuket
There are often drones used for making videos and that often results in spectacular images, as in this video about Koh Yao Noi.
Especially if the video was also made by a professional such as the British filmmaker Philip Bloom. He made beautiful shots of the small Thai island of Koh Yao Noi. The result also shows the creative possibilities of drone videos.
Bloom explains his choice for Koh Yao Noi: “It is one of the least developed islands in Thailand, despite being close to Phuket. It is a small oasis with only 18 km of passable roads.”
About Koh Yao Noi
The small tropical island of Koh Yao Noi is located east of Phuket and is part of the Ao Phang-Nga Marine National Park. Koh Yao Yai mainly consists of forests and kilometers of beautiful sandy beaches. From the rolling hills behind the beaches you have a fantastic view of the limestone rock formations that characterize the coastline of the opposite Ao Nang. The local population earns a living by fishing and growing coconuts, rice, cashews and rubber.
