Just got back from Jomtien and would like to thank all the people who responded to my request for a good tailor. Visited several addresses and finally found what I was looking for in New Mode. There I was treated very kindly and with a lot of man. Found the right fabric, took a while to finish, but better than half-hearted work. This store is highly recommended.

After the extensive information during the visit to the pepper plantation, the journey continues by tuk tuk through the interior. On the way we make a short stop at a so-called elephant cave. Have to gather my strength as I look at the many stairs that lead up. Even somewhat puffing, three young children hop upstairs with me with the greatest of ease.

A plume of blue smoke rises from behind the fence and slowly dissolves between the green of the tall trees. That is the sign that poa Sid has lit his campfire again, during the cool period he does that every day because people arrive at his yard from sunrise. They arrive on rickety mopeds of a model that De Inquisitor recognizes from a distant past, but the inventive Isaaners manage to keep them rideable.
