THAI Airways increases capacity from Brussels

Brussels Airport will introduce a number of improvements to the summer timetable in order to attract more Dutch people.

Fly to Thailand

Those who want to fly from Brussels to Thailand with THAI Airways have more choice because THAI Airways will increase its capacity by deploying a larger aircraft.

Brussels Airport

This summer, Brussels Airport will show many improvements in the offer of the nearly 200 destinations that can be reached non-stop from the airport. This gives passengers more options in choosing airlines and flight times on various routes.

For example, a number of airlines will add destinations and frequencies to their networks:

  • As a home carrier, Brussels Airlines will add the destinations Washington and Palermo to the network. Washington will be served 5 times a week, Palermo 2 times a week.
  • The Belgian company will also increase the frequencies on the African network; Conakry goes to 4 weekly flights, Dakar to 7 and Cotonou to 3 a week.
  • Edinburgh will get a second daily flight.
  • In addition to Barcelona and Valencia, Vueling now also adds the destinations Alicante and Malaga.
  • Thomas Cook Airlines continues to expand with Bastia, Biarritz, Nice and Reykjavik as new destinations, while Jetairfly Athens will start up.
  • Corendon will fly directly to Heraklion this summer and Rhodes will also be better served with a new route from Aegean.
  • Qatar Airways will fly daily between Brussels and Doha, which will also increase the number of connections to the Far East.
  • Further frequency increases can be seen on Vienna, Zagreb, Cairo, Beirut, Istanbul and Kiev.
  • THAI Airways and Jet Airways are increasing their capacity by deploying a larger aircraft, as is United on the Chicago route.

Brussels Airport hopes to be able to attract even more Dutch passengers with all these improvements. The airport is an excellent alternative, especially for the southern provinces, with a number of unique destinations and airlines.

Luxury bus

Passengers from the Randstad can now also travel to the airport more easily by public transport. Since the beginning of March, a luxury bus has been running 3 times a day between The Hague, Rotterdam and Brussels Airport. Tickets for this connection are available at www.royaldutchcoach.nl

Brussels Airport will become a hub for airline Thai Airways for routes to Africa, Europe and the American east coast. This is stated in an agreement signed last week in the Thai capital Bangkok between Brussels Airlines and Thai Airways, both members of the Star Alliance network.

That's right, that message will be ready for tomorrow.
