THAI Airways International offers a promotional fare for flights from Phuket to Chiang Mai. This special rate applies to two flights: TG722 and TG2212.

The one-way ticket can be booked for the promotional rate of 2.280 baht, about 54 euros (excluding surcharges and tax).

Passengers can book this promotion until October 31. There is a discount of 56% compared to the usual rate.

The offer is interesting for tourists who, after the beaches in the south, also want to see some of the beautiful nature in the north of Thailand, without first having to travel to Bangkok and then transfer there for a flight to Chiang Mai.

Small correction ... it is not Thai Airways International that offers the tickets, but low-cost airline Thai Smile. 2 completely separate operating companies, each with their own staff and management. Thai Airways International is only Thai Smile's largest shareholder. Why this comment? My brother-in-law is a director at Thai Airways International. Thai Smile was created as a 'low-cost' airline to fly routes that are not profitable for Thai Airways. The service is also a bit less.

Perhaps not important to us, but the Thai is a bit more sensitive to this.

Thai Airways or Thai Smile it all remains the same.
Only cosmetic changes. The fact is that she
still can't compete with the budget
airline Airasia. Even this so-called super offer is
still a lot more expensive than the regular Airasia fare.
Let me not say anything about the Airasia offers because
Thai airlines cannot match that at all. Thai Airlines had a market
share on domestic flights of 80% and only 30% of that is left.
Thai Airlines is a poorly managed state-owned company with many retired
generals at the top. They are years behind and therefore constantly behind
    to the facts.

    regards,
