THAI Airways passengers flying from Brussels to Bangkok can watch live television from June 14. Thailand's national airline has all Airbus A350s and Boeing 787s fitted with special systems to provide this service.

THAI passengers can then, in addition to the usual entertainment offer, also follow the channels CNN, BBC, NHK and Sport 24 live.

According to a spokesman for the airline, passengers have a constant need for news.

Think that passengers need sufficient legroom, good quality food and drinks more than TV on their screen.

I have nothing to complain about at Thai Airways in that regard.

I flew with Thai Airways from Bangkok to Brussels on May 19th. At that time, BBC images of Harry and Meghan's wedding were already visible on the plane.

That is strong indeed, because I think you land in Brussels around 0700 in the morning and the wedding is not completed until 1200 in the afternoon…

Departure Bangkok was indeed 0.30 am on May 20. May 19 was my departure from Phuket.
