The Vietnamese low-cost carrier VietJet Air will launch two new routes between Ho Chi Minh City and Phuket and Chiang Mai on December 12 and 15, when the high season begins. This brings the total number of routes to Thailand to five.

The airline operates four flights a week on the two new routes and they fly with an Airbus A320. It is expected that many Vietnamese tourists will use the new connection.

VietJet Air is the private airline of Vietnam and was founded in April 2007. The budget airline is growing very fast. The current fleet of 99 aircraft will continue to grow, partly due to an order for 737 Boeing 200 MAX 2016 aircraft in XNUMX.

people also want to know about the quality of flying. I flew to Ho Chi Minh with VietJet Air last month and I really liked it. Not a huge plane, but still plenty of legroom. Pay attention when booking, you have to pay extra for all kinds of 'service', such as luggage (hand luggage free, max. 7 kilos, I have not noticed that she checked the weight anywhere. The size of the suitcase is), cancellation insurance, seat selection, a possible meal or drinks. The prices for this 'sevice' are not tender.
    So no complaints.
