Handy app for airport WiFi passwords worldwide
You have landed and you want to send an app or check your e-mail. You can use free WiFi at a number of airports, but not everywhere. And logging in is often difficult. Sometimes you can use the network for half an hour or you have to pay quickly. With the WiFox app you get rid of that hassle.
Blogger, world traveler and computer technician Anil Polat is the developer of this app. It gives you access to WiFi passwords from airports around the world! The list is continuously supplemented and updated, in most cases the app is up to date.
The app is easy to use. You click on an airport on the map, after which you will see the corresponding password. If there is a time limit on the WiFi connection, you can also see how you can get around it via the app.
The WiFox app can be downloaded from Apple iTunes and Google Play.
Reading the reviews on the app, it doesn't work for a meter.
You still have to pay for it too.
A 3.0 rating in Google Play says it all I think.
Hallo,
The app is indeed useful!
BUT tell them that this App is NOT free !!!
Cheers,
Hans
I had downloaded the App but after trying it for 5 minutes, decided to throw it off. In my opinion, this adds no value. Every airport changes its password regularly, and I suppose that in airports where you have to pay, each person has a different password, so it seems impossible to share this again via this app, people must have set a security 1 password for 1 device . And airports where you can only use for a maximum of 1 hour, this app will not change that, this has more to do with the cookies and the IP number of the device.
In addition, if you are not careful, your password for your own WiFi at home will become public and will be posted on the site.
Seems to be a really bad app. Read the review on Apple iTunes
Just looked at it, but maybe also useful to give a few disadvantages?
It is not a free App but you have to pay for it. not much but still….
Database tries to update via wifi before you have free wifi :). Of course you can also start offline with the old info, but it is a limitation.
Hello, you do not say that it costs 2,19 euros .. have another one for you!
This , FLIO is really free and does the same thing, only you have advertising when you close ..
Good luck..
Really really bad app
You don't need an app for that, do you? a list would suffice. a simple google search before you leave and you can download the list from the wifox website, or if it doesn't exist just use the website of the airport you are going to. So the whole app around it is in principle not necessary, but they will probably enjoy selling your personal data to the highest bidder! it's all pure marketing
But to pay…
