Thailand visa question: I want a visa that does not require me to do a visa run every 90 days
Dear Ronnie,
Is there anyone who can tell me in Jip and Janneke language what I need to have with me at the Thai embassy in The Hague to apply for a visa, where I do not have to make a visa run every 90 days, but simply report to the Thai Immigration Service.
Maybe with an example.
Of course I understand very well that there is no guarantee that an answer is correct for my situation.
Regards,
Henk
Dear Henk,
You mean a Non-immigrant “OA” Multiple entry visa.
The visa has a validity period of 1 year. With every entry during that year you will receive a residence period of 1 year. So you don't have to leave Thailand every 90 days. However, you must make an address report to immigration every 90 days of uninterrupted residence in Thailand.
You can read it all here
TB Immigration Info letter 039/19 – The Thai visa (9) – The Non-immigrant “OA” visa
You can also choose to apply for a Non-immigrant “O” visa. Upon entering Thailand, you will be granted a 90-day residence period. You can then extend those 90 days in Thailand by a year. You can then repeat this extension annually.
In the following two links you can read how to apply and how to extend.

The prices of the visas in the various links are no longer valid.
Current prices are
- Non-immigrant “O” Single entry = 70 Euro
- Non-immigrant “O” Multiple entry = 175 Euro
- Non-immigrant “OA” Multiple entry = 175 Euro
