Questioner: Fred

Gradually I want to go back to Thailand since my legal wife is still staying there in our house. We miss each other a lot now after months of being alone. My first question to you was, do I really qualify to return? Which embassy is the best place for me (as a Belgian) to go? I hear from stories that the embassy in Brussels is anything but helpful, cooperative or informative.

Here I read stories about the embassy in The Hague. I also find their website clearer than this one from Brussels. As a Belgian, I suppose I am also allowed to contact the Dutch embassy, or am I wrong?

Thanks for your opinion.

1. You are eligible because you belong to the group for which this is allowed.

1.1 Non-Thai nationals who are a spouse, parents, or children of a Thai national (can be found on the website of the Thai Embassy in Brussels via the same link as below).

When you can return depends on the embassy that will decide this.

2. I think the website is clear after all. Maybe you're looking in the wrong place. Have a look through this link. Sometimes you have to click on the sentence to download the relevant information or forms

https://www.thaiembassy.be/2020/07/09/application-for-certificate-of-entry-for-non-thai-nationals/?lang=en

3. I myself do not know that it would be difficult for the Thai embassy in Brussels.

Whether you can also go to the Thai embassy in The Hague? Perhaps, although I rather think that everyone will focus on their own area. But you can always try, of course, if you think you have a better chance there. Please contact them.

Good luck and let us know the result. Maybe others can help too.
