Questioner: Jack Bonenberg

As I am planning to go to Thailand for about 5 months in mid-December on vacation in my own condo in Jomtien but I don't know what visa and requirements are at the moment, I would like to ask if you can advise me on this matter .

I have been declared fully incapacitated for work and I am 65 years old, net benefit is 1700 euros per month.

Awaiting your advice, best regards

– Or an STV you can stay in Thailand for up to 3 x 90 days without interruption.

– Either a Non-immigrant O Retired and you can stay in Thailand for 90 days. You then have to extend those 90 days in Thailand by a year if you want to stay for 5 months and at the moment it is still the old conditions to extend. If you repeat this extension annually, you do not have to take out a new visa each time

– And of course you can also go for the Non-immigrant OA if you can meet the new financial requirements.
