Questioner: Hetty
We leave for Thailand on December 14 for 60 days. We still have an appointment in mid-November to apply for our tourist visa in The Hague. And pick it up again. So (NOT online). I have called the embassy in The Hague several times, but there is simply no answer.
My question is: what exactly should we bring to apply for the tourist visa (68 and 75 years old)?
And if you also need to provide a bank statement? What should the balance be then? (so I don't know if you should take that with you).

You can read about the requirements here:
- Single-Entry Tourist Visa
- Passport or travel document with validity not less than 6 months
- Visa application form completely filled out
- Recent passport-sized photograph (3.5 x 4.5 cm) of the applicant taken within the past 6 months
- Bank statement showing adequate funds for your stay in Thailand

Amounts are not mentioned and this question also appeared on TB a few days ago. It shows that it should probably be at least 600 Euro. Could be per person. More will always be better of course.

NB. This only concerns the requirements for a Tourist visa. In addition, you will also need to apply for a ThailandPass.
How to apply can be found here:
