Dear readers,

Recently I made a call to share your experiences (information) with the immigration office or border post. This information would then be included in the Dossier 2016 (if there are sufficient responses): www.thailandblog.nl/visa request/call-new-visa file/

To make everything clearer about what I mean exactly, I have created two standard forms. The information on these forms already gives you an idea of where I want to go with the file in the future.

It is a first draft and they can always be adjusted. Give your opinion about it. You may also supplement them. Maybe I overlooked something. You can download them here, complete them and send them back to the editors [email protected]

  • Form 1 – Immigration Information Sheet
  • Form 2 – Border Information Sheet

Thanks in advance.

I always have to report to the Pattaya Immigration Office, Soi 5.
In the past, things could sometimes take a while, but since the automation they have introduced there, you walk in and out, so to speak.
On my last 90-day visit, I was really out again after 5 minutes; my annual visa was extended last week and that too was done within half an hour. Nothing to complain. On the contrary.
    All praise…!!!

      Beautiful.
Can you also fill in the form?

Might have nothing to do with it

But at the immigration office on Chiang Watthana Road, Lak-Si Bangkok. If you can go to counter C90 for a 1-day visa and counter L for a one-year visa, you will get a one-year visa, but with a single entry, if you want a multi-entry then you have to start all over again at counter C2.

And the luch is from 12.00 to 13.00, so everyone out.

    • RonnyLatPhrao says up

Of course this has to do with Nico.
      Please fill in the form.
I also happen to know Lak Si, but others may be coming into contact with it for the first time and then this is an example of information I am looking for for the readers.
And then I also mean the info that they shut things down for lunch.
On the other hand, I could also experience that they also continue to work after the official opening hours.

      Thanks in advance.

Please use the correct terms. You cannot obtain visas at immigration. Extensions and “Re-entries” are.

Dear Ronny, I have not read the foregoing, but does it also apply to HH Immigration to have to fill in this form because I have been coming here for 10 years and have never had any problems with the ladies and gentlemen in question and I am always helped nicely, I was yesterday been before the 90 days just show passport and done is excellent.

Tonymarony, Any experience is welcome - go ahead

    Dear readers,

Whether there are problems or not is not really the point of the question.
My question goes beyond “no problem” and “it went well”.
That is all very nice to read, but that is of no use to me and other readers of little use.
How did your day go there? What documents did you have to provide, what was your impression?
That is the actual question so that others know what to expect if they also visit there
Anyway, I'm happy with every response. I respect that you took the time to respond.

    Corretje,

I want to thank you for the response because I agree with what you write in your response.
As I said before I am looking for such experiences
(I just don't agree with “what praise” because I want experiences and reactions,
    No praise or complaints forms).

Just this (and that is also the purpose of the dossier - to inform people)
Anyone who is married can also obtain a year extension on the basis of “Retirement” if he is at least 50 years old.
It is not because you are married that you must apply for a “Thai Women Visa”.
You only need to have that 8 tons in the Thai bank (yes, I know, at least 3 months or 65000 monthly income or a combination is also good, etc... I'll just mention it or else I'll be bombarded with the whole blog again).
The only thing is the whereabouts you still have to prove.
Do you have a Tambien Baan (yellow) this can not be a problem.
If you don't have that, a blue Tambien Baan (+copy of Thai ID) from the house responsible is sufficient.

Thank you Corretje anyway and let us hear more from you.

    • RonnyLatPhrao says up

      Corretje,

That is why I also say that you can also request a “retirement” and that you do not have to ask for a “Thai women” if you are married.
The documents that you must submit for a “Thai women” are also included in the Dossier.
It is not really new, but maybe that was not necessary in Nonthaburi before.

In your first comment you write something that I don't really understand.

“We went to the Immi for my wife yesterday”
Why does your wife need an extension? She has Thai nationality after all because she has a Thai ID card.

Dear everyone! I would like to let you know that during my last renewal non (o) the income statement from the Austrian consulate was no longer accepted, while in previous years it was no problem! Panic everything was ok until I got a call from soi 5. new rule foreigners have to show income statement from country the come from .and yes I didn't have that because it is not stated anywhere, also the person who had given approval that everything was ok.my visa data had run out. so I politely asked what that means, but nowhere, I remained polite and asked for a one-week extension, but there were two no problem. I went to bkk NL embassy and immediately returned the next day, as it turns out, she wanted to see if those two incomes were valid. were the same and thank God that was the case. She called her superior in front of me and told him that the amounts were the same. As a result, I received a new no o and she still smiled, nice day! Be careful, there are new rules up to 30. This form is for those who do not have their own home and are renting it. tm30 form, copy of blue book and ID card owner and the same name must be on the rental contract with signature on the relevant forms. Please note this is also mandatory if you move!!! do it immediately and pass on the first floor, go up the stairs to the left in soi 5. there are random tests and people drop by unexpectedly. for those of us who say that things are not going well, I say forewarned counts for two. ps with 2 of my Acquaintances have had house checks for address verification, so make sure you live with the correct papers and entry in the computer, no visas in case of fraud!!!! have a nice day everyone.

First time I hear that the “income statement” of the Austrian consul is not accepted.
This is something to follow up on.
If this turns out to be insufficient, then it is no longer useful to get it from him and it is better to use that from the embassy right away.

I had already mentioned the TM30 form (+copy of Blue Book and signature). This is being asked in more immigration offices and it seems to be becoming more of a rule than an exception when applying for an extension.

      Also home visits.
For a “Retirement” it was rarely done but now also more when I hear it like that.
For a “Thai women” you almost certainly get control. That is why you usually receive an “under consideration” stamp before you receive the final extension. Usually with the first application.

      Thanks.

Foreign! I applied for a new annual visa last month, also in Jomtien, Soi 5, and there my income statement from the Austrian Consulate was just accepted…

I was in Mukdahan this week and did a visa run on my own to Savanakhet LAOS. I have a non-immigrant or multiple entry visa for Thailand. I took the Thai international bus for 50 baht one way, which stops just past the Thai immigration check post where I first got my stamp to leave Thailand. Bus rides every hour and takes a maximum of 10 minutes to drive over friendship bridge two. Get off the bus and go to the visa on arrival counter to fill in the form together with the arrival departure card. Three minutes later and 1500 baht costs, I have a visa for Laos for 1 month. I walk around the corner to the right after Laos immigration arrival signs my visa as used and tears off arrival card. Around the corner Laos immigration departure and just behind it I buy a new bus ticket for 50 baht return journey on the Meklng river. Wait a bit. Take the bus over the bridge and stop right at Thai immigration. Fill out the new Thai arrival departure card there... I had already filled one out... new admission for Thailand for 90 days... all in all in an hour and a half and no one said a word to me. Just make sure you don't board the special bus to the casino... it will probably cost you more... I hope this helps others with their visa run... sent from my smartphone...

Didn't need a passport photo for the Laos visa?

      Thank you
