Chiang Mai Train Station (video)
Another beautiful video with images from the air and from the ground of the picturesque Chiang Mai train station. This station is amazingly small and quiet.
The railway to Chiang Mai has recently been refurbished. The overnight train route from Bangkok to Chiang Mai is popular with tourists and backpackers. At the beginning of the evening, a number of train sets are transformed into sleeping compartments, so you can sleep soundly under the rhythm of 'kedeng kedeng' as sung by Guus Meeuwis.
