Be careful with your phone in traffic (video)
In this shocking video you can see the consequences of distraction in traffic, in this case from a telephone. A moment of carelessness can kill you.
It is not clear whether this recording was made in Thailand, but it can be heard from the people in the car with the dashcam. In any case, the video makes it clear how dangerous it is to make a phone call while participating in traffic (also as a pedestrian).

Was driving from Chon Buri to Pattaya on highway no 7 yesterday. Anyone who practices safe driving knows that many in Thailand drive like a headless chicken. Totally no sense of responsibility on the part of many drivers. I myself witnessed a similar accident in Bangkok. Also a young lady who crashed and died. I still regularly see the images in my mind and it was so unnecessary and unjust. The infatuation of telephone use can be attributed to the person in question (major accidents also occur due to selfie behavior), but driving over the road is of a different order.
I had a habit in the beginning of stopping and doing kindness and leaving others for that whenever possible. In such situations you are still a danger because others do not react to this and just drive on. Certainly the motorbikes that fly around you left and right. They don't stop with all its consequences. This is also the case in this video where she thanked one driver and was shoveled by the next. I therefore advise everyone to watch out for too much kindness, because this is not understood in Thai traffic and can lead to the most terrible collisions.
