Thailand will continue to develop as an important economic and cultural hub in Southeast Asia in 2023 as well. Even though there are several challenges facing Thailand such as tackling poverty and inequality, strengthening infrastructure and environmental issues. The country will also continue to struggle with political tension and uncertainty, although the Thai people are generally known for their strong sense of community and ability to unite in times of crisis.
Culturally, Thailand is likely to continue to benefit from its rich history and diversity, and Thai cuisine, music, dance and art will continue to grow in popularity around the world. The country will also continue to preserve and restore its beautiful temples, palaces and cultural sites, which are a major source of pride and inspiration for the Thai people.
Thailand will continue to be a thriving and dynamic society in 2023, with many opportunities for growth and progress for its people and for visitors from all over the world.
I wish you a very nice, beautiful, cosy, warm and above all healthy 2023,, and this year I hope to go to my son and daughter-in-law again...

Hopefully a few wars in this world will end this year because they, with their consequences, are a cause of disaster, sorrow and illness or death for many.

For most people who live here it will be a very good year financially, most pension funds are increasing significantly, so don't complain this year that it is difficult to make ends meet in Thailand.
