Does anyone have good experience with an agency or company in Chiang Mai that rents out properties?
Yesterday when I welcomed my tenant from Switzerland he told me a novelty when applying for a 3 months visa. He was asked to provide a residence address and a copy of the landlord's passport with the application. Are there more of these experiences that, in addition to the income problem, do not make it easier to be present as an expat (and entrepreneur)?
As of today, the law in Thailand about renting is changing, but how many Thai homeowners will comply? Have lived in Thailand for a very long time with many different addresses, always with Thai owners who do not easily reduce their income.
