The days of the week in Thai language
It is interesting to compare the days of the week in the Dutch language with those in the Thai language. In English, all names of the days of the week end with: – day, mon-day, tues-day, etc. In Thai, the names of the days start with day: wan – วัน, wan ah-thid, wan tjan, and so on.

Resit for learning the Thai language
Earlier I wrote an article about learning the Thai language (see article 7A). This article was largely based on my experiences with the self-learning course of NHA. A very comprehensive course, consisting of no less than 60 lessons. The NHA course goes very deep, but it takes tremendous persistence to get there. I didn't manage to do that at the time and I stopped after two years of study.
Learning Thai is still difficult
I try everything. There is plenty of free content on the internet, Thai and Isaan. But what I'm actually looking for are Thai/Isaan spoken videos with NL or EN subtitles. The idea is that you can watch such a video 20 or 50 times and understand a little more about the language. Anyone a tip? A YouTube video maybe?
Learn Thai language near Khon Kaen
Does anyone know where I could learn the Thai language in or near Khon Kaen? Private lessons, or through a school, both are good. Thanks for any tips!
