Everything appears to be wrong with the disaster ship the Phoenix that capsized in Phuket in July, drowning 47 Chinese tourists. Chinese tourists are canceling their planned holidays to Phuket in large numbers after 47 tourists from China died in the Phoenix disaster on July 5.
Deputy Prime Minister Prawit has come under heavy fire for his criticism of Chinese tour operators after the Phuket disaster that killed more than 44 Chinese. He apologized on Tuesday for his harsh criticism of Chinese tour operators. Prawit blamed them for the disaster.
