Sometimes I feel tickles in my throat and then I have to cough, that sometimes takes about five minutes and then it's over. Every time a short cough. This is repeated a few times a day and also at night, but not always.
Even before I came to Thailand I was a lover of spicy food. I've suffered from heartburn for as long as I can remember, and Rennies were stocked in every conceivable strategic place.

25 years ago when I still lived in Belgium I had a stomach ulcer. Now 2 weeks ago due to stress I have problems again. Rising acid, sometimes when I go to sleep I have to put my head a little higher and then I feel better. I dread going to the clinic for an endoscopy.

Got trouble with rising heartburn, put the head end of the bed higher for a better night's sleep. First with “Thai Rennies” -Kremil-s things are reasonably under control. Now switched to the widely propagated Omeprazole 20 mg (on an empty stomach once a day) with good results. My question: How long can/may/should I continue with the treatment?
