The European Union has lifted the import ban that had applied to uncooked chicken meat since the outbreak of bird flu in 2004. Japan and South Korea follow the EU's decision. The Minister of Agriculture expects Thailand to be able to export 50.000 tons to Europe this year.

by Hans Bos I used to be a wealthy 'gentlemen farmer' just outside Bangkok. The menagerie consisted of a couple of rabbits, two roosters and two hens.
